Make Crafting Make Sense!

Ok, now this isn't a big deal at all, but it is something that I just find odd, why does it seem like the weirdest things are needed to craft items? It makes no sense, for example shouldn't a Ultima blade be used to craft a ranged ULTIMA blade? I also don't get how the Dark Endure give significantly less HP then the Dark Robes, when a DE is a fairly decent craft, considering you need to spend 400K on the arrows alone, not including the time it takes for the Water Dragons to drop wings and claws (which is slow.)
I just don't understand why i need pink boots to craft fire arrows.

It's a game lol...like in main do, why does it take colorful blobs to make an ablo staff....
